Cataract

Cataract

Cataract is an opacification of the lens that hinders the focusing of light rays on the retina. The image seen is blurred, regardless of the possible ocular correction of the person.

The cataract surgery is a surgical procedure that lasts about 10 minutes.

Your surgeon H. Nasri Dhahak is practicing the phacoemulsification technique, which is currently the reference technique.

The purpose of the intervention is to remove the opacified lens and replace it with an artificial implant through a micro incision

During your preoperative consultation, your surgeon will explain the details of the procedure, the follow-up and the choice of the implant.
